Our client Dulcesol (now Vicky Foods) is a Spanish food group founded in 1952 and located in Gandía (Valencia) It is a pastry and bakery company. Leading by sales volume in Spain and an exporter to more than 50 countries.
The client’s necessity: to cover the need for quality and cost-effective raw materials. Its policy is process integration, growing as a self-supplier of eggs.
The solution: an efficient layer farm of your own.
For the Dulcesol farm facilities, Ganal was chosen because of its years of experience in the poultry farming sector and the recognition of the quality of its facilities.
In 2007 we manufactured and installed cages model A32 with 8 rows and 8 tiers for 100,000 laying birds. In 2012 we adapted their A32 model cages to the new regulations 1999/74/CE and Royal Decree 3/2002. In the same year, the client decided to double its production and relied on Ganal with the manufacture and installation of model G28 cages with 8 rows and 8 tiers for 135,000 birds.
Vicky Foods currently has more than 500,000 laying hens producing 7,500 tonnes of eggs and covering 85% of the group’s needs.
